📚 BOOK FAIR week!!! Don't forget you are able to load an "e-wallet" for your student to spend money if you'd like.  Since we will be going to the book fair each day there will be no library this week. 

For anyone interested, information about ordering a yearbook 📖 was sent home Friday. 

We are running low on  water for the classroom so if anyone would be able to donate some it would be greatly appreciated.

Since we are getting into warmer weather ☼ we'd like to give a simple reminder for you to keep in mind the dress code for shorts and sleeveless tops.

Last week the class recited their final bible verse they had to learn for the year. Over the next couple/few weeks we will be studying the 10 commandments.  Also, we will be reviewing the 26 verses learned and a few of these verses will be recited during graduation.

🎓 Graduation is set to take place on May 21, @ 11 am. The ceremony will be held outside next to the new Gym at our school. We have already began practicing our graduation program. If any student wishes to practice their part at home to gain further confidence then I'll send a paper with the info needed so they are able to practice more. Soon, a letter giving specifics about the graduation ceremony will be sent home so I'll let you know when to keep an eye out for it.      

April 19-23, 2021

Wednesday,  April 21, we have an EARLY OUT!  All students will be dismissed at 12:30.

The Bible verse to be recited on Friday the 21st is "Z" Zion heard, and was glad. ~ Psalm 97:8

On Friday, 3/26, if students wish, they may dress as mice 🐭 to celebrate The Tale of Despereaux!

READING GROUPS:                                                                                                     I want to bring to your attention that we've reached the time of year where I will be keeping points based upon whether or not the student completed their reading homework on time and also whether or not they bring their reading book daily.  These points contribute to their final Phonics grade.  As usual, if reading homework is completed on time and signed then the student is awarded a sticker and now points will be given.  If reading homework isn't completed and signed then points will be deducted.  The same will also apply in regards to whether the student is prepared with having their book each day.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me!
